    About The Opportunity

    We are seeking a Works Coordinator to ensure service excellence for a large-scale social housing contract by efficiently coordinating, monitoring, and supporting subcontractor performance of facility management service delivery for a large-scale social housing contract. This role aims to support the safe, timely, and client-desired delivery of all necessary works, meeting both Programmed Facility Management (PFM) and client quality standards. This permanent, full time role based in Orange NSW, plays a crucial part in delivery of facility management and contributing to important services for the community.

    Key responsibilities

    • Communicate updates and commencement dates with customers and service teams.
    • Manage works from planning to completion.
    • Review work status and monitor project expenditure against budgets.
    • Communicate work requirements, plans, and timelines to all staff.
    • Ensure timely resolution of delivery issues.
    • Champion safety culture and compliance.
    • Ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
    • Provide guidance to staff and assist with subcontractor variations validation.

    About You

    To be successful in this role, you will have strong administration experience and ideally coordination of building maintenance, or facility management services. You will have a 'can do' attitude, natural ability for people engagement and passion for excellent service delivery.

    Additionally, you will demonstrate and possess the following:

    • Demonstrated knowledge of building trades/services or facility management preferred, not required.
    • Administration certificate or qualification desirable, not essential.
    • Previous subcontractor scheduling experience advantageous
    • Strong communication skills.
    • Excellent time management and prioritisation skills.
    • Intermediate skills in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook & Powerpoint).
