    The PositionWe are seeking experienced and enthusiastic Catering Assistants to join our Catering team. In this role you will be working within a fast-paced team that thrives to deliver Patient orientated customer service.
    Some of the duties and responsibilities of this role will include but are not limited to:

    • Distribution/collection of customer menus, food trays, beverages as well as basic food preparation
    • Cleaning and sanitising workstations and food areas;
    • Providing fast, friendly and exceptional customer service;
    • Display a strong level of team commitment whilst also having the ability to work autonomously where required;

    As a Catering Assistant, you will be working across a 7-day rotating roster. Flexibility is crucial for this role.

    If you have strong written and verbal communication skills, possess a positive 'can do' attitude and can adhere to schedules and timeframes then this could be the ideal opportunity for you.

    1. Previous experience assisting in all aspects of kitchen operations, food preparation and service provision in a healthcare or similar environment.
    2. Food Safety Certificate and practical application of executing food standards in a Healthcare setting (desirable)
    3. Availability to work a rotating roster including days, evenings, public holidays and weekends (essential)
    4. Evidence of current Hepatitis B immunity (or the ability to obtain necessary vaccinations unless medically exempt)

    Vaccine Preventable Diseases (VPD) Requirements
