    We are looking for a motivated, adaptable Assistant Venue Manager to join the team at The Rook. Located in Sydney's CBD near beautiful Darling Harbor, The Rook Rooftop & Restaurant is a fantastic venue for a manager looking to the next step in their career.

    Reporting to the Venue Manager, the successful applicant will be skilled at building and maintaining stakeholder relationships, with an innovative and solutions-focused approach to delivering the highest customer service to all guests.

    What we're looking for:

    • 2+ years in a management role in a similar venue
    • Extensive Food & Beverage knowledge
    • Understanding and ability to learn venue reporting and systems on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
    • Presence on the floor during peak service periods, including late nights and weekends
    • Ability to stock take and investigate the stock loss
    • Train, performance manage, and motivate staff
    • Work with and communicate effectively within a team
    • Experience with H&L, Ivy & Seven rooms desirable
