    About the Role

    Ventia is seeking an experienced Field Supervisor for our Defence Base Services contract in Darwin, NT.

    The successful candidate will provide high-level customer service, manage key stakeholders, and supervise building trades to maintain, repair, replace, and ensure facilities and equipment integrity within the Defence contract.

    Key Responsibilities

    • First response coordination and on-site ground control of emerging Estate Upkeep outages impacting Asset availability.
    • Supervision and oversight of Estate Upkeep Subcontractors as required.
    • Implementation and issuing of the Ventia Permit to Work System.
    • Site auditing of work activity safety documentation and conduct of Operational Process Confirmation as required.
    • Supervision of Ventia Field Leads to manage their performance and coach for improvement.
    • Participation in Subcontractor and Project Management Quality Control activities, including validation of work scope completion and value for money assessments.
    • Provision of site access coordination, including inductions, access to drawings, maps, and escorts for Subcontractors.

    The successful candidate must have:

    • Building, Trade or tertiary qualifications desirable.
    • Experience within the Building Industry or Commercial Maintenance Industry highly desirable.
    • Strong focus and awareness of safety principles.
    • Experience in managing and leading trade teams, subcontractors, and estate upkeep related services and personnel are considered highly desirable.
