    We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Support Intake Officer to join the Family and Domestic Violence team. The position is full time, working Monday to Friday.

    About the Opportunity

    The Business Support Intake Officer for the Family and Domestic Violence team contributes to the effectiveness, reputation and sustainability of HOPE's services by effectively organising and coordinating the operations of the service, to ensure the smooth operation of the daily activities support to the Intake & Assessment team; ensure Referrals are completed in a timely manner.

    Requirements of the Role:

    • Provide a range of administrative and support services, including records management, routine correspondence, and meeting and event coordination to support the effective operation of the service.
    • Respond to referrals for intake, within 24 hours of receipt of the enquiry or the referral.
    • Manage and coordinate the referral, intake process of new program applicants to ensure a timely access to service with minimal barriers.

    You will have:

    • Experience in a similar role in a like-minded organisation.
    • Demonstrated competence in administration and office coordination.
    • Experience working in culturally appropriate ways.
    • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills

    DESIRABLE CRITERIA:

    Formal qualifications in administration or office management would be well regarded

    Appointments will be subject to Australian residency/visa, satisfactory National Police check, Current C or A class driver's license, and suitable work referee.
