The CopRice team is currently recruiting for an experienced Industrial Fitter to join their Maintenance team as a Reliability Technician.

This role is located at our Tongala facility.

This role is an integral part of our close-knit team and offers good workplace variety, and competitive remuneration, commensurate to qualifications and experience.

The successful candidate will be central to the improvement of plant reliability and compliance across the site, with primary responsibilities including:

• Contribute too and deliver a reliability strategy that is site focused on minimising plant downtime/ maximizing throughput efficiencies & reducing the costs.
• Developing implementing & managing reliability programs & projects for critical assets throughout the business.
• Developing and maintaining the standard operating procedures, policies, practices and measurement systems for equipment and facility reliability to ensure operational compliance.
• Deliver preventative maintenance tasks & all aspects of reliability centered based maintenance strategies.
• Liaise with business reliability staff and management to implement improved maintenance reliability strategies.
• Be proactive in attitude & actions to foster a culture in line with business values.
• Conducting planned and preventative maintenance activities

You will also be required to showcase your valuable trade skills by:

• Conducting planned and preventative maintenance activities
• Diagnosing faults and proactively managing breakdowns of equipment or process failures;
• Following safe work practices and coaching and training apprentices;
• Conduct and participate in root cause analysis of breakdowns and/or process improvement;
• Complete all required maintenance task notification, safety and quality computer based activities;

To be considered for this role, you will have the following;

• Fitter trade qualification for work in Victoria
• 3-5 years post trade experience
• Knowledge of equipment operation & principles
• Knowledge of the Manufacturing industry
• High level understanding of the maintenance best practices & process
• Be able to participate in Safety, Quality and Continuous Improvement activities to enhance workplace.
• Excellent communication and numeracy skills
• Processed based risk assessment skills
• Proven fault finding skills
• Attention to detail to achieve a quality result.
• Current Driver's license
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to consult, negotiate and liaise effectively with a diverse range of people.
• Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships.
• Excellent communication and numeracy skills
• Confidence in developing effective networks by seeking out opportunities for collaboration
