    Description

    Immediate Opportunity to Deliver Services in Australia and the Pacific


    The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in rotating equipment, working on sites in Australia, New Zealand, PNG, and Pacific Islands.

    • Conduct field service activities on rotating machinery from various manufacturers.
    • Strip, inspect, repair, rebuild, and commission machinery, including reporting and recommendations.
    • Supervise a team of mechanical fitters and work independently.
    • Support the operation of service activities with technical expertise.
    • Assist workshop operations as required, including hands-on activity during field service downtime.
    • Collaborate with business development managers for sales activities, including customer visits.
    • Provide technical customer support.
    • Develop detailed scope of works for sales and contract execution.
    • Create quality documentation (ITPs, IRS, Work Procedures) for service activities.
    • Train service personnel on-the-job.

    Main areas of focus:

    • Steam and gas turbines.
    • Axial, centrifugal, multistage, integrally geared compressors and expanders.
    • Screw compressors.
    • Fans and blowers.
    • Industrial gearboxes.
    • Reciprocating compressors and valves.
    • All types of rotors.

    This is primarily a Field Service position. Regular travel to Australian field locations is required.

    To be considered, you must:

    • Hold a Master/Bachelor degree or Certificate IV in Mechanical Engineering.
    • Be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident.
    • Have 5+ years of rotating equipment experience.
    • Reside in NSW or be willing to relocate to our workshop location.
    • Hold professional accreditation (CPEng, NER, RPEng, RPEQ).
