    In this role you will partner with the Founder, bringing your expertise in e Commerce buying to the role.

    The Role |As the Head of Buying your primary responsibility is to strategically develop and continuously refine the buying function to enhance business performance.

    Leading your team with expertise and vision, your goal is to curate product ranges that resonate deeply with our customers, fulfilling their desires and needs.

    By maximizing revenue and profit in alignment with our company's growth objectives, you play a pivotal role in driving the brands success in the dynamic world of ecommerce.

    Collaborate closely with the executive leadership team to refine and execute the strategic vision of the company, ensuring alignment between the buying function and overarching business objectives.

    Develop and articulate an innovative and ambitious buying and product vision - leveraging customer insights and market trends to not only effectively help manage P&L and optimise revenue, growth, and profitability but also to surprise and excite customers.

    Provide visionary leadership to the Buying team, effectively communicating the strategic direction and translating it into actionable plans and processes that drive transformative objectives.

    Encourage creativity and forward-thinking to push the boundaries of what's possible in the realm of fashion and ecommerce.

    Collaborate closely with buying and planning teams to forecast, select, and develop product ranges that embody the larger creative vision of the brand.

    Utilise keen product acumen and market trends to seize opportunities and deliver commercially viable ranges that exceed customer expectations.
    Coach and mentor team members for continuous improvement, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
    Support skill development and succession planning to cultivate a high-performing team capable of driving the company's ambitious growth agenda.
    Drive individual and team performance, fostering accountability and a results-driven mindset.
    Champion product innovation by fostering a collaborative environment for idea generation and implementation.
    Encourage bold and creative thinking to drive breakthroughs in product development and customer experience.

    Establish and maintain competitive pricing strategies, while nurturing strong partnerships with suppliers Oversee OTB and seasonal plans, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic objectives and creative vision.

    Adapt and pivot as needed to capitalise on market opportunities and evolving customer preferences.

    The Skillset |You will bring deep expertise and understanding of Buying with an e Commerce first business, you will thrive in the fast paced environment of e Commerce Buying with a collaborative nature.2-3 years' experience in a Head of Buying or Senior Buyer role - ecommerce apparel preferred Relevant Buying or Business qualification.

    Up-to-date knowledge of market trends and competitor activity.
    Google docs, slack and G-suite.
    Retail math's and metrics.

    Planning - understanding of planning and merchandising principles The Offer |There is a strong remuneration package level with the experience level required in this role, this is a full time role based in the inner suburbs in Sydney.
