Description

The Senior Financial Accountant is the primary financial resource for the Tanzanian companies that has the responsibility of ensuring the financial accounts for the Group are completed accurately and in a timely manner and all taxes complied with.

The Senior Financial Accountant will report directly to the CFO.
This is a 6-month contract position with can largely be done on a "work from home basis".
This role will involve, but is not limited to:
Completing the consolidation workbook for the Group.
Ensuring the timely preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual accounts.
Assisting with quarterly ASX reporting.
Assisting with requirements for external audits for parent and subsidiary companies.
Developing and implementing financial strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure effective financial management.
Assist with statutory direct and indirect tax compliance for Group.
Assist with implementation of transfer pricing.
Assist in moving the Group functional reporting from A$ to US$.Develop rehabilitation provision.
Assist in ERP implementation.
Assist with development of monthly reporting.
Financial modelling to ensure covenants and conditions of debt financing are met.
Monitoring financial performance and providing strategic insights to support decision-making.
Various ad hoc tasks and projects as required.#J-18808-Ljbffr
