As the System Engineer - Cyber you will be responsible for the technology and systems that support the penetration testing team. You will employ your technical expertise to support and maintain the systems and infrastructure of the Penetration Testing team. For example, Cyber Attack Lab, jump hosts, and any of the systems used by the Penetration Testing team for reporting and tracking of penetration testing assessments and findings.

This role will help ensure Cyber Security assessment are integrated into the organisation, driving efficiencies, and to support key decisions that keep the Group safe and contribute to the success of the penetration testing control.

Your Responsibilities:

• Support, build and maintain systems that support the Penetration Testing function including scanning tools, Jumphosts and VPNs.
• Contribute to developing and building solutions that support Cyber Attack and Vulnerability Assessment strategy.
• Expand the capabilities and integration of JIRA-based findings management system.
• Collaborate with other teams in Group on improving the reporting capabilities of the Penetration Testing function to different stakeholders across the Business.
• Work closely with users, understand their challenges, and offer solutions.

We are interested in people who:

• Have demonstrated experience as a system engineer with exposure to wide-ranging systems that enable you to quickly adapt between programming/scripting languages, hosting platforms, and operating systems.
• Have experience with system integration and automation using APIs, scripting, coding, and Linux / Windows.
• Have experience in DevOps practices with AWS Cloud
• Have experience working with data systems and ability to perform complex queries in tools such as Jira, Splunk, SQL, and ServiceNow highly desired.
• Have experience with network security scanners and security testing tools is desirable.
• Love to use technology to solve problems, and willing to learn new skills in the process.
• Who have an interest in Cyber Security and would like to explore it.
