    About the role

    ·Providing leadership in the areas of environmental site investigations, hydrogeological investigations, risk assessment, remedial excavations, operation of in-situ remedial treatment systems, compliance auditing, groundwater treatment design, implementation and optimization.

    ·Assessing work against guidelines, objectives and specifications, ensuring the quality of work outputs.

    ·Managing complex tasks related to projects while managing small multi-disciplinary teams, including engineers, hydrogeologists, and risk assessors, as well as multiple contractors and subcontractors.

    ·Developing project proposals and lead the client development process through marketing plans and strategies.

    ·Maintaining and growing your industry and professional knowledge and leadership skills to ensure Ausenco Sustainability remains ahead of the marketplace.

    ·Seeking out and acquiring new business opportunities and acting to identify opportunities to expand the scope of existing projects.

    ·Developing client relationships that facilitate successful delivery of projects and the maintenance of future/ongoing opportunities.

    ·Preparing and delivering presentations to clients and prospective clients.

    ·Promoting and maintaining a positive work environment through a culture of teamwork and cooperation within the office, region, and between other areas of the organization.

    ·Training, growing and building responsibility in junior staff members in their technical skills, knowledge, and reporting.

    About you

    You are entrepreneurial in nature, have previous experience in leading diverse range of complex projects, and are a client focused professional who thrives in a fast-paced team-approach environment. You have a strong understanding of environmental management considerations in the context of the construction and operation of energy, mining, industrial, commercial, real estate, and transportation infrastructure Projects.

    ·You have a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering or Science related field.

    ·Professional registration or the ability to obtain registration in BC as a P.Eng., P.Geol., P.Ag., or P.Biol. is required.

    ·Minimum of 12 years of related progressive experience including at least 5 years in a Project Manager role or discipline lead role.

    ·Extensive project / discipline management experience involving fully managing multiple diverse projects from beginning to end.

    ·Exposure to a variety of projects, sectors, multiple clients, and various degrees of project complexity.

    ·Demonstrated experience in building and maintaining a team of professionals to support projects and the business.

    ·Is able to clearly express complex and challenging ideas, thoughts, and concepts; delivers information in a well-organized and engaging manner so that it is understood.

    ·Demonstrated track record of risk, financial and budget management.

    ·Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

    ·Excellent written and oral communication skills.

    ·Proven ability to mentor and impart information, knowledge, and skills to Junior and Intermediate staff in the delivery of technical project work.

    Salary range: $115,000 - $140,000

    Expected Salary: Variation in salary is determined by factors such as qualifications, relevant years of experience, and prevailing market conditions for the specific role.
