    The Company:

    Our client is an established non-bank lender offering a range of first mortgage lending solution services, catering for a variety of business and investment ventures. They have an exciting opportunity for a Credit Analyst to join the team.

    The Role:

    Duties include:

    • Pre-Lend: evaluate creditworthiness of loan applications through pre-lend due diligence, in-depth financial analysis, industry research, and risk assessment; assess collateral values and perform risk mitigation analysis through market research, reviewing contracts and reports
    • Reporting: prepare information memorandums, manage progress claims, ongoing portfolio analysis and management, preparing credit reports for credit and investment committees
    • Correspond: Arranging progress inspections, instructing Valuers/QS' to complete reports, arranging and maintain contact with them, reviewing external reports, track of all credit related tasks to satisfy Conditions Precedent for settlement, and liaising with Treasury to determine funding needs for progress draws

    The Candidate:
    The ideal candidate will have:

    • 3+ years experience working in credit analysis within the financial services or banking industry
    • Strong financial modelling, risk assessment and credit evaluation skills
    • An undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance or a related area
    • Effective written and verbal communication skills
    • Proficiency in Excel
    • Ability to work towards deadlines in a fast paced environment
