    About the organisation
The Independent Broad-based Anti-corruption Commission (IBAC) is Victoria's independent anti-corruption agency responsible for preventing and exposing public sector corruption and police misconduct. It does this by investigating serious corruption and police misconduct; and informing the public sector, police and the community about the risks and impacts of corruption and police misconduct, and ways in which it can be prevented. IBAC's jurisdiction covers state and local government, police, parliament, and the judiciary. The entity is accountable to all Victorians through the state parliament, however, is completely independent of the government of the day. IBAC ensures the Victorian public sector and police acts with integrity and in the best interest for all Victorians.

    About the role
The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) works collaboratively with the Commissioner, Deputy Commissioners and Executive to inspire a vision of what IBAC will achieve in line with its statutory functions and powers. Accountable for the effective corporate management, people leadership and administration of IBAC, the CEO will influence how the entity's vision and strategy will lead to tangible outcomes. With a strong people focus, the role will develop and grow staff capabilities while fostering their engagement, satisfaction and wellbeing. Navigating complex and often confidential stakeholder environments, they will maintain respectful relationships while sensitively identifying and managing risks. The CEO actively models the values of IBAC to prevent and expose public sector corruption and police misconduct.
