    The Opportunity

    We have an opportunity for a Practice Executive (Legal Secretary/Executive Assistant) to join our Operations team in Melbourne on a 12 month Fixed Term Contract basis.

    Some key areas of responsibility will include (not limited to):

    • practice and client management including general administration and data entry
    • monthly billing/invoicing requirements
    • business Development/Marketing including event management
    • monitoring and managing inboxes for Partners
    • diary and travel management

    Our Practice Executives play a pivotal role within the firm, ensuring that support services to legal staff are delivered appropriately and within a timely manner. You will work closely with our dedicated hub of Team Assistants to complete any administrative based tasks.

    About You

    Professional skills and competencies you will present include:

    • 3+ years' experience as a Legal Secretary and/or Executive Assistant.
    • high degree of initiative, pro-activity and problem solving skills, with a willingness to take ownership for the completion of tasks/projects and deliver innovative solutions to improve systems or work practices.
    • excellent relationship building and organisational skills.
    • strong written communication skills and keen attention to detail, with the ability to draft correspondence and presentations.
    • ability to pick up new systems with ease, with intermediate to advanced level technical skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
