We are seeking a talented Geotechnical Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of geotechnical engineering solutions within a dynamic mining company.
The successful candidate will be responsible for completing a structured graduate development program, covering open pit and underground geotechnical engineering, as well as other technical service departments.
You will oversee daily geotechnical operations, including QA/QC of ground support, area inspections, and review of development and stoping plans. You will identify, assess, and track geotechnical hazards, providing feedback to relevant stakeholders.
Implement ground support standards and ad hoc ground support plans.
Conduct geotechnical mapping, core logging, and database management.
