    Description

    The applications including Bail, Site Safety (tyre deflation), and NextGen (with a strong focus on Domestic and Family Violence) are fundamental to the safety of our frontline officers and wellbeing of our community by providing access to critical information and providing the capabilities to perform key policing tasks.

    The core capability requirements for this role are:


    • Co-ordinate, improve and support efficient and effective IT systems and business analysis at Mobile Capability Centre.

    • Develop and support change management process for new and enhanced IT systems including supporting other areas within Mobile Capability Centre in this process.

    • Provide advice, guidance and high-level business analysis services to determine business requirements within legislative, contemporary IT and customer experience frameworks.

    • Adhere to Queensland Police Service Information Technology policies, procedures, standards and practices including security, documentation and version control management.

    • Adhere to Queensland Police Service Information Technology policies, procedures, standards and practices including security, documentation and version control management.

    • Provide advice to management on IT and associated issues and initiatives, including innovation, contemporary solutions, risk identification and management.

    • Analyse, document, develop, test, deliver, implement and review new and innovative IT solutions to meet the business requirements of stakeholders.

    • Engage with QPS Business stakeholders to ensure that IT systems are providing effective and efficient platforms, processes and procedures to ensure achievement of operational goals.
