    Public Sector People are partnering with Canterbury-Bankstown Council to recruit for a temporary Human Resources Advisor.

    Contract: 7 months

    Location: Bankstown – Walking distance from Bankstown train station

    Hourly Pay Rate: $60 - $65 p/h + Super

    Responsibilities

    • Provide accurate advice to first level HR queries related to Council's policies, procedures and industrial instruments
    • Assist HR Business Partners in the management of employee lifecycle matters, including but not limited to secondments, flexible working arrangements, and parental leave.
    • Work with the HR Business Partners to coordinate investigation processes, including but not limited to memos, chronologies, correspondence, etc.

    Essential

    • 2+ years of experience in Human Resources
    • Tertiary qualifications or equivalent in Human Resources
    • Local government experience preferable
