Davidson Technology are currently supporting a leading State Government Authority to secure a Senior Solution Architect to deliver innovative IT enabled solutions for Queenslanders. They are offering a contract through till 31 st January 2025
About the Role
As a Senior Solution Architect, you will play an integral role in providing comprehensive direction and oversight in solution architecture, ensuring alignment with organisational needs. Your responsibilities will include guiding solution requirements, evaluating procurement options, and designing solutions for both internal and external projects within the context of the broader integrated systems landscape. You will oversee the adherence to robust architecture management practices throughout delivery, collaborating closely with internal technical teams and external suppliers to maintain solution integrity. Engaging with various stakeholders including internal staff, customers, vendors, and operators, you will ensure that solution designs meet established standards and are compatible with respective organisational architectures. Documenting all aspects of the end-to-end systems architecture and design, your role will facilitate ongoing support and maintenance operations. Additionally, you will serve as a vital technical liaison between business units, technical teams, vendors, and other stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and alignment of objectives throughout the project lifecycle.
About You
As a seasoned Senior Solution Architect with over 5 years of experience, you'll be adept at navigating large and highly complex architectures. Proficient in working within frameworks like GQEA and architectural methodologies such as TOGAF, you'll leverage this expertise to inform strategic decisions. With a solid background in vendor selection and management, you'll focus on technical aspects. You will be well-versed in a variety of solution types including SaaS, COTS, and bespoke solutions, while maintaining a deep understanding of security best practices and Identity Access Management. You'll demonstrate strong oversight and governance capabilities, ensuring the quality of deliverables from technical teams and offer excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills facilitating effective collaboration. Additionally, you will possess expertise in AWS and Integration solutions, particularly API integration, driving innovation and efficiency in solution development.
The Benefits
You will be offered an excellent rate up to $1150 per day on contract till 31 st January 2025 with a possible extension and offers a flexible work arrangement upon agreement with management.
