    Location: Eliwana - Fortescue's Eliwana mine is located on the traditional lands of the Puutu Kunti Kurrama people

    Roster: 7D7N14R FIFO ex. Perth and Busselton

    Fortescue recently unveiled its roadmap to becoming the world's first heavy industry company to go green by 2030, aiming to eliminate fossil fuel use and achieve real zero emissions (scope 1 and 2) across our Iron Ore operations. Eliwana will be the first operation in Fortescue and the world to shift to green iron operations. Our lifestyle roster means that you can balance your work and family life.     Fortescue is undertaking a large paradigm shift to becoming a global Green Energy and Iron Ore provider. This change will mean that all areas of our Mining operations have been targeted to run and operate on renewable energy /alternate sources to remove carbon emissions from our core business by 2030. We will adopt new technology and operational methods across all areas Mining SME/HME. The reference to Green Fleet is a part of that change.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Willingness to learn new disciplines and skilled to ensure the incoming Green Fleet transition has a maintenance team with a 'Can Do' attitude and capability to grow with new technology
    • Diagnostics and fault finding on all Heavy Mobile Equipment
    • Workshop and field duties as required
    • Adapting to new technologies

    Qualifications and Experience

    • Australian recognised Automotive Electrical Trade Qualification
    • Valid C class license
    • High level of safety awareness and orientation
    • Heavy Mobile Equipment experience is essential
    • Experience with OEM diagnostic tooling highly advantageous
    • Experience using suite of Microsoft programs and applications such as (Excel, word, PowerPoint etc.)
