- This Hospital Aide role covers 3 areas - POAU, Orthopaedic Clinic and Stomal Therapy.
- This is a job share role - working Tuesdays and Thursdays 8m to 4pm.
- The successful applicant will be part of a team, working with nurses, clerical and medical staff, all focussing on a 'can-do' attitude and the THS CARE values.
- Under the general supervision of the Nurse Unit Manager (NUM), the Associate Nurse Unit Manager (ANUM) or the Department Manager, Hospital Aides assist in maintaining a safe and clean environment and adequate stock supply (excluding drugs) to enable clinical staff to deliver a high standard of care to patients in the ward/unit.
- It is expected the role will have direct contact with blood or body substances or infectious material, which needs to be considered in all tasks undertaken.
- Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time and part time vacancies.
- Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022

Permanent, part time, day worker position working 30 hours per fortnight/as and when required, commencing from 17 June 2024
*notwithstanding hours may be negotiated with the successful applicant
Salary: $58,184 - $59,580 pro rata per annum. Our Employer 11% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
You'll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible
