Equity Capital Markets Analyst - Leading Investment BankCorporate Finance & Investment Banking (Banking & Financial Services)
JS Careers is currently sourcing an ECM Analyst for an Australian investment banking in Melbourne.

The firm operates in a generalist capacity with sector strengths in general industrials, healthcare, tech, consumer, retail and financial services.

This role requires 2-5 years of experience gained from an accounting practice corporate finance team or competitor investment bank / corporate advisory firm.

This is an outstanding opportunity for an analytical professional seeking to build upon already developed technical skills in a first-class business.

This role will provide the successful candidate with exposure and transaction execution experience well above that of an Analyst at a larger investment bank.

Role responsibilities:
Financial analysis, valuation and modelling
Due diligence and transaction management
Drafting and deal documentation (e.g.
IMs, Board Papers, SPAs etc)
Communication with other advisors (legal, accounting) and clients

Candidates will be considered from:
Investment banks/advisory firms - Bulge bracket or boutique
Stockbroking/Capital Markets groups
Big four accounting firms - M&A, Transaction Services, ECM, Valuations and/or Business Modelling
Candidates must also possess the following:2+ years of professional experience
Advanced Excel skills
Advanced technical skills via financial modelling experience or a highly numeric tertiary education (ie.
Actuarial studies, Mathematics, Quantitative Economics/Econometrics)
Tertiary degree in a relevant discipline (Commerce, Economics, Finance, Actuarial Studies, Engineering, and/or Law)
ECM experience will be highly advantageous
