    Job Description

    About the role:

    Reporting to the Mining Supervisor, the Open Cut Operator will provide safe and efficient operation of heavy earthmoving equipment to meet mine production and organisational targets.

    Roster and Location:

    • Both 4 Panel (2/3) rotating roster and Lifestyle (4/5) rotating rosters are available
    • Please list in your application your roster preference
    • Based out of our South or West Pit

    About you:

    • Experience operating tier 1 excavators.
    • A NSW Drivers Licence;
    • A positive and can-do attitude;
    • Previous experience and competencies operating large mining equipment.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Developed understanding of risk management and safe work procedures.
    • Ability to work both autonomously and as a part of a team.
    • Previous experience in the industry.
    • Relevant qualifications.
    • Promoting and maintaining a high level of positive safety performance and workplace culture through teamwork, personal commitment, and application of the company values.
    • Ability to liaise with key internal and external stakeholders.
