About the opportunity
This role will assist in the overall management, development, implementation and evaluation of the HIRAID Aged Care clinical trial. They will oversee the delivery of the intervention and education materials to registered nursing (RN) staff across multiple partnering residential aged care homes (RACH) across Sydney.
The role will be responsible for the effective implementation of HIRAID Aged Care across our partner RACHs by providing on-the-ground operational support, education and training, consulting with stakeholders and identifying and developing solutions to issues that arise. This will involve working closely with the residential aged care partners, nursing and medical staff, as well as residents and their caregivers, to complete a range of research activities, such as data collection, participant consent, documentation auditing and the assessment of implementation fidelity.
This role will be located principally within the Sydney Infection Diseases Institute at the University of Sydney's Western Sydney Local Health District brand new K-Block Precinct at Westmead Hospital, and at the University's Camperdown Campus from time-to-time. The incumbents will be required to travel to trial sites across Western Sydney Local Health District and other NSW areas.
