    Key Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Estimate repair projects on schools & businesses
    • Assist project manager in the creation of Requests for Quotations (RFQ's)
    • Breakdown scopes of RFQ's into relative trade disciplines
    • Ensure responses to RFQ's have all necessary information to deliver projects
    • Source & induct new sub-contractors to achieve a competent trade pool
    • Ensure sub-contractor registration is completed for all new trades
    • Ensure purchasing quote register & trade quote summaries are kept up to date
    • Liaise with the nominated supervisor for site specific information
    • Provide administrative assistance for supervisors and contract administrators
    • Assist supervisors and contract administrators with allocating trades to works
    • Ensure all reporting guidelines & timeframes are met


    Key Selection Criteria:
    Do you have proven examples of demonstrating drive and energy? Are you extremely motivated and can think outside the box? Being able to demonstrate and highlight examples of these are the key criteria for you to be successful in joining our existing talented and passionate team.

    • Previous Estimating experience
    • Carpentry / Building Trade background ideal, however not essential
    • Strong computer literacy
    • Excellent communication skills – both written & verbal
    • Demonstrated negotiation & analytical skills
    • Ability to work in changing work environments
    • Strong time management & organisational skills
    • Ability to build effective relationships with both internal & external stakeholders
    • Honest nature, positive attitude & sound work ethic
    • Current & valid motor vehicle licence
