    About the role

    The Arts Academy delivers highly regarded undergraduate and graduate, studio-based programs in visual and performing arts and theatre production. As the Lecturer, Music Theatre, you will contribute to the development and delivery of courses in Music Theatre at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

    You will:

  • undertake teaching and assessment of undergraduate, honours and postgraduate students;
  • undertake research activities;
  • participate in team projects and committees;
  • contribute to the administrative functions of the Institute.

  • About you

    Working under the broad direction of the Director, Arts Academy. Executive Dean and Director, Academic Operations, you will possess extensive experience as a musical director, accompanist and vocal coach in the music theatre industry. You will exhibit demonstrated knowledge of music theatre repertoire and its application for teaching in a tertiary setting.

    You will possess:

  • the ability to teach music theory;
  • previous experience in academic administration;
  • evidence of research expertise and a demonstrated to achieve a research profile in Music Theatre; and
  • demonstrated interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
