    The Department of Justice is creating a register of suitable applicants who are interested in working in the Mid West and Gascoyne regions, including centres based in Geraldton, Meekatharra and Carnarvon. The services we provide in these regions include, Adult Community Corrections, Youth Justice Services and Greenough Regional Prison. Once registered, you may be considered for permanent/fixed term and full time/part time opportunities.

    Greenough Regional Prison

    Greenough Regional Prison is dedicated to fostering community safety through effective prisoner management and rehabilitation strategies. With a focus on our cohort of offenders, we strive to create opportunities for positive change, empowering individuals to reintegrate into society as responsible and productive members.

    Youth Justice Services

    Youth Justice Services in regional areas aim to divert young people from the criminal justice system and support them and their families to make positive life choices.

    Adult Community Corrections

    Adult Community Corrections' staff contribute to public safety through effective and responsible community based adult offender management which focuses on reducing reoffending.

    Are you who we are looking for?

    We are looking for motivated people with a variety of skills and experience, these include but are not limited to:

    • Administration
    • Reception
    • Human resources
    • Finance
    • Report writing
    • Vocational Support Officers (trades and/or non-qualified)
    • Community Case Management (youth and/or adult)
