About the business:
Established since 1976 with a staff of over 80, Newcastle Weighing Services Pty Ltd are a market leader in the manufacture, supply, and maintenance of weighing equipment through-out Australia. As part of our growth strategy an opportunity exists for a Perth (Welshpool) based scale technician to join our team. This role would ideally suit a technician who is looking to join a professional and structured company and have a focus on customer service.
Role Description
In this role you will verify, calibrate and service industrial weighing equipment including laboratory and medical scales.
This role will also involve preventative maintenance and emergency breakdown service.
To be successful in this role you will
- Ideally have a minimum of 6 years field service experience in the weighing industry
- Be committed to providing exceptional customer service at all times
- Have professional presentation and be punctual
- Have excellent communication skills
- Be able to work autonomously
- Have a "can do" attitude and be driven to succeed
- Have a current Australian Driver's Licence
- Hold a NMI Verifiers Licence 6.2, 6.3, 6.4 and 6.8
