- Assist in the design and selection of equipment to suit the contract requirements
- Prepare designs with simplicity and economy which meet the project specifications
- Prepare, register, and revise all company related inspection and test documents as directed by the Project Engineer/Design Engineer
- Review and agree with Project Engineer design timeframes shown on design program
- Attend design reviews as requested by the Project Engineer/Design Engineer Contribute to the giving of technical advice to the functional Departmental Managers, in conjunction with the Project Engineer/Design Engineer
- Electrical or Computer Science Engineer
- Design Engineer in Train Control Systems, Communications or related control systems background would be highly regarded.
