    About the role - Project Engineer

    We are growing our Infrastructure and Major Projects Business Group in South Australia and we're keen to hear from you if you're looking to take the next step in your career John Holland currently has a strong pipeline of work across pre-contracts and projects currently in delivery across Civil Infrastructure, Water and Wastewater, Tunnelling and more

    This is a long-term permanent position within John Holland that will initially see you working within our Urban Superway Defects project team, which will have occasional night shift requirements to deliver upon the expected requirements.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Coordinate and administer construction engineering activities to ensure that projects are implemented in accordance with plans, designs, and specifications
    • Monitor construction progress for adherence to programme and report to the site manager or project manager
    • Interpret designs for implementation in construction projects
    • Assist with the preparation of site construction budgets and reports
    • Analyse and use document and record management, progress, and project performance reporting compliance reporting

    To be successful:

    • Bachelor Degree in Engineering
    • Minimum 5-10 years' Project engineering experience ­
    • Experience on > $10 M Projects ­
    • Project Engineer and operational experience ­
    • Knowledge of project management structure, plans, specification, standards and implications for project accountabilities
