- Performs normal analytical work and exercises individual judgement and initiative in the application of scientific principles, techniques and methods
- Carry out routine analysis on samples and products in the quality control laboratory
- Follow Analytical Laboratory Methods and SOP's, and adhere to Pharmacopoeia's, regulatory and GLP, GMP Guidelines
- Plan and coordinate own workload
- Adherence to laboratory calibration schedules
- Performance track record of attention to detailSkills and Experience
- Bachelor of Science (Chemistry or related Discipline)
- Wet chemical and instrumental techniques (e.g. Wet Chemistry, HPLC, GC, ICP-MS, TLC, dissolution testing)
- Working knowledge of GMP and GLP guidelines
- Pharmaceutical analysis or a related field (desirable)
