    My client is a leading services organisation in the health sector space seeking a Facilities Manager on an initial 6-month contract with a view to permanency. The position will oversee the facilities maintenance plans across 15 sites across Victoria. Salary on offer is up to: $90,000 + super + car allowance. Travel requirements generally on a biweekly basis, there is also the ability to WFH 2-3 days per week. A trades background is not required for this role.

    As Facilities Manager position is a standalone role which is a key stakeholder role working closely with vendors and sites leads to ensure reliable and consistent delivery to maintenance plans, related to work orders, capital expenditure, essential safety measures and minor project works. The role is responsible to ensure risk identification / controls, incidents and site issues are managed as per the agreed KPI's and processes. The integrity of the sites is to be managed through the identification of project improvements and compliance. Strong relationships needs to be developed and maintained with the site representatives and vendors for the respective sites.

    Key prior experience required for this role include the ability to manage change, self-manage, communicate effectively, prioritize effectively, problem solve / make decisions, manage effective work groups and build and maintain relationships. A solid understanding of facilities maintenance in a service industry, an aptitude for mechanical, electrical services, and a strong risk management approach is essential.
