    The Opportunity

    A unique opportunity is available for an experienced Aged Care manager to oversee the day to day clinical care and operations of this mid-sized Aged Care Home, located in the Hobart region.

    Reporting to the Executive team, the Facility Manager will:
    • Leadership and Management: Oversee a diverse and dynamic team, and leading them towards exceptional care outcomes.
    • Staff Management: Oversee recruitment, mentoring and performance management, and fostering a positive work environment with adequate staffing levels.
    • Resident Care: Ensuring excellent care outcomes for the resident cohort, with a focus on a holistic approach incorporating both clinical and lifestyle-centric care.
    • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to regulations, policies, and standards, addressing non-compliance promptly.
    About You

    For this appointment, we are seeking an established Aged Care leader with a track record in developing and leading clinical services within the Aged Care sector. The successful candidate will have:
    • Demonstrated leadership experience in managing residential aged care facilities.
    • Have a proven track record in leading and mentoring teams, with demonstrated ability in implementing and seeing through organisational and staff objectives.
    • Proven ability to ensure regulatory compliance and implement quality improvement initiatives.
    • Extensive demonstrated understanding of holistic, resident-centric care.
    • Strong financial management skills, including budget development and cost optimisation.
    • Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills, fostering positive relationships with consumers, families, and the broader community.
    • AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse, or adjacent disclipine supported by demonstrated experience in the Residential Aged Care sector.
