    Compliance and Industrial Relations Officer Role

    A permanent opportunity in Alexandria offering a competitive salary of up to $130,000 + Super and hybrid working arrangements.

    This position is part of an industry giant that provides integrated logistics services worldwide. The company has a strong focus on promoting staff from within and succession planning.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Audit and communicate HR-related policies on a regular basis.
    • Stay up-to-date with legislative changes and inform relevant stakeholders.
    • Assist with employee investigations and provide training as needed.
    • Liaise with healthcare providers across Australia and New Zealand to create return-to-work plans.
    • Investigate IR-related issues and make recommendations.
    • Liaise with external legal advisors when necessary.
    • Analyze data to identify trends and implement strategies to reduce workplace injuries and costs.
    • Lead workplace adjustments to accommodate returning employees.

    About You

    • You have a deep understanding of Australian and New Zealand workplace regulations.
    • You possess excellent mediation and negotiation skills.
    • You are familiar with local Workplace Labour legislation and processes.
    • Your ideal qualifications include a Degree in Human Resources, Law, Allied Health, or a related field.
    • You have excellent communication skills and can provide training if required.
    • You have meticulous data and record-keeping skills with high confidentiality.
    • You have experience undertaking investigations from start to finish.
