    Great opportunity to get onboard with one of Melbourne's most Prominent Civil Construction Groups as a Mechanic.

    This is immediate start position. You could be working on-site tomorrow with us

    JV Recruitment are seeking two experienced and enthusiastic Diesel Mechanic's to assist the Workshop operations based in Campbellfield and Narre Warren.

    General duties of the role will be assisting in fault finding and fixing issues with the Civil machinery; Mostly based within the factory yard you may also be requried to head out to assist with issues that happen out onsite.

    For the right candidates work will be ongoing with the option of over time. This role has the potential to become full time for the right candidate

    ON OFFER:

    • $45 per hour + super (negotiable depending on experience)
    • Meal allowance included (over 9.5 hours on a shift)
    • Additional Travel allowance ($20.32 per day)
    • Time and a half and double-time rates paid for overtime
    • On-going role.

    ROLE DUTIES:
    The Mechanic will work to maintain and repair the company fleet of vehicles at a Campbellfield or Narre Warren location.

    THE OPPORTUNITIES
    This is a great opportunity to work directly for one client in an ongoing role managing a fleet of vehicles.

    Responsibilities Include :

    • Assessing breakdowns for repair
    • Troubleshooting faults and issues with vehicles
    • Maintaining a fleet of vehicles
    • Scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on vehicles
    • Assist in the repair, maintenance and servicing.
    • Compliance with OH & S systems, policies and procedures
    • Reporting and associated administration in line with this role
    • Forklift license and HR truck license desirable

    The candidate will be a qualified mechanic, have strong communication and troubleshooting skills. They will have a previous work history in maintaining a range of vehicles, plant and equipment.
