The Opportunity:
Reporting directly to the CEO, the General Manager will play a critical role in overseeing all operational aspects of the company.
Duties encompass evaluating the company's well-being, executing strategies to reduce risks, fostering crucial partnerships with key clients, pursuing fresh business prospects, and sustaining a robust sales funnel.
The General Manager will drive revenue growth aligned with their strategic plans, focusing on optimising customer service, workshop efficiency, and profitability.
Cultivating a positive company culture, promoting a safe work environment, and staying abreast of technological advancements in the industry are also key aspects of this roleKey Responsibilities:
Develop, implement and track sales growth strategies with the introduction of disciplined forecasting and reporting.
Research and develop revenue opportunities in new markets and diversify revenue streams through innovative approaches.
Conduct regular performance reviews for executives and reward high-quality work.
Monitor employee morale and initiate initiatives for sustained satisfaction.
Build lasting partnerships with key clients and implement CRM software.
Foster collaboration with our partners.
Maintain and enhance the Integrated Management System (IMS) and engage in audits.
Measure performance against targets with a focus on customer service, profitability, and safety.
Review monthly reports and manage cash flow.
Prepare Capex submissions detailing business benefits.
The Successful Candidate:
Proven track record in a General Manager position or relevant field.
Tertiary qualifications in Business/Mechanical fields or relevant engineering discipline.
Strong financial acumen and proficiency in data analysis.
Extensive experience in developing, executing and monitoring strategic plans.
Exemplary leadership principles, with a focus on developing your staff.
Ability to identify, diagnose and communicate corporate or operational risks.
Commercial and sales experience with demonstrated success.
