  • As part of the brilliant & talented Global Finance team, reporting directly to the Senior Manager: Business Process & Systems Integrations APAC, your role will be to support CHEP APAC's customer movements, Billing and invoicing processes and related systems.
    Using your high level of SAP technical knowledge, you will act as the Primary Coordinator within the APAC Controllership team for all support & projects relating to CHEP's billing and invoicing systems - ensuring that they run at peak performance through correct and efficient process and design.

    Ideal Candidate Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in IT, Finance or a similar, related discipline
  • Experience in supporting with SAP Pricing and invoicing (or SD module)
  • Experience with implementing e-Invoicing (preferably with Peppol) using SAP e-Docs
  • Experience working on cross functional IT projects as a BA or PM
  • Experience managing stakeholders across multiple countries are all levels of business
  • Knowledge of the CHEP business model is advantageous
  • Experience with MS Power Apps (Power BI/Power Automate)
  • Business Analysis & Project management
  • Major/Key Accountabilities

  • This role will work closely with the Pricing and Invoicing team of Technology Services (TS).
  • Develop a strong understanding and application of CHEP's business model and system landscape relating to Pricing and Invoicing of customers across APAC.
  • Become a SAP resource for the business in Pricing and Invoicing.
  • Be integral in the design & review of procedures, policy, and controls in the SAP environment.
  • Responsible for regular review of system usage and processes to identify system enhancement opportunities and process improvements to improve performance through better use of CHEP systems.
  • Drives these improvements from Business case thought to project completion through liaison with appropriate business and IT function leads.
  • Managing multiple stakeholders across the business to ensure acceptance of changes.
  • Interrogates data, flows and transactions to ensure the appropriate business processes and SOPs are followed, the system is working as anticipated, and the data has integrity.
  • Responsible for developing and maintaining of KPI reporting dashboards to reduce manual work and provide business-related data analysis function to review the Impact on company performance of data used in CHEP systems and the stability of CHEP APAC pricing and invoicing processes and systems.
  • Responsible for the analysis of data and, using these results, work effectively with external departments including Finance, Sales, Customer Service, Asset and Credit to improve the accuracy of customer and transactional data and the correctness of the invoices. Responsible for pre and post audits and performance checks by running daily suite of reports on the day's billing to identify errors or issues and initiate the fix of the problem.
  • When required, support the APAC Business by providing data analysis assistance, participating within projects, liaising on a one-on-one basis, as well as in groups with stakeholders at all levels with regards to customer transactions and all pricing and invoicing processes, systems and issues.
  • Proactively manage regional billing issues including but not limited to failures, through root cause analysis and corrective action.
  • Using current CHEP and Brambles process management tools (Nintex Promapp), create and maintain the business processes catalogue for all processes within the role's purview of pricing, and invoicing including,
  • End to end Billing and invoicing process.
  • Maintenance and audit of Billing and invoicing
  • All Billing outputs including PDF, CSV, eInvoicing etc.
  • Management and maintenance of customer excess and escrow.
  • All related Audit and automation processes.
  • This includes review of current balances as required; providing guidance on queries relating to excess and escrow; and, upon appropriate approvals, the execution of excess and escrow transactions used to rectify outstanding customer issues.
  • Working with RPA and IT teams, develop automated solutions to improve process efficiency and audit processes to reduce workload and risk to the APAC business.
  • Work with IT, Digital & Analytics, and reporting teams to research the use of data analysis tools and implement as required to improve efficiency and data integrity
  • Audit capability to reduce workload and risk to ensure good data hygiene for all billing related data (Invoicing audit processes)
  • Support the Master Data teams through auditing, training and process management to ensure the highest level of data integrity is maintained. Assist to develop, maintain and enforce standard operating procedures for all processes in the MD team.
