    About the role

    As a Senior Accountant you will:

    • Supervise and coach, and delegate work to juniors in your team
    • Coordinate with your team leader on the various phases of an engagement
    • Prepare and review financial statements and tax returns for individuals, partnerships, trusts, companies, and SMSFs
    • Prepare and implement tax planning strategies and initiatives
    • Assist Manager & Partner with business performance, structuring, wealth, and asset protection engagements

    About you

    • Bachelor degree in Accounting or Commerce, and either studying or have completed CA or CPA
    • Approximately 3-5 years' experience in an Australian Chartered or CPA accounting firm
    • Exposure to large business structures, and complex and diverse engagements
    • Good understanding of tax issues such as Division 7A, GST, FBT and self-managed superannuation funds
    • Experience in supervising and delegating work to junior staff
