In this hybrid position based out of Newcastle, you will work within a small team from project to project, where you will work across front and back end development.
What you'll be doing:
In this hands on position, you will be working within a small team, using .NET core as well as Angular. You will be tasked with providing thought leadership on how best to maximise the use of bespoke software so that technologies are built in a maintainable, effective and fit-for-purpose way.
You will be responsible for the analysis, design, development and support of applications working closely with other developers, testers and architects in your direct and wider team. You will act as a mentor to less experienced developers in the team and be tasked with providing input in internal meetings where you will advocate for best software engineering practices e.g. automated testing, continuous improvements and continuous delivery.
Experience required:
You will have at least three years of previous demonstrated experience in a similar senior level role where you have coached and mentored the more junior engineers in the team. You will be a full stack engineer having previously worked with .NET as well as Angular or React.
Desirably, you will have experience with relational databases such as SQL, exposure to DevOps engineering and have experience in a cloud environment. But if you don't have this, we would love to still hear from you.
Please note that this role is based out of Lake Macquarie, so you will need to be based in the Newcastle, Lake Macquarie or Central Coast region and would be available to travel into the office a couple of days per week.
