    What you'll do:

    As a Management Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in providing expert analysis to operations. You will be responsible for analysing operational data, developing KPIs, ensuring system integrity, and supporting all financial requirements. Your ability to translate data into insights will be key in driving continuous improvement in the financial management of various functional areas. This role offers an engaging blend of strategic thinking, commercial acumen, hands-on accounting, and relationship building.

    • Provide advice and support to management on financial performance including budgeting and forecasting, analysis and reporting, accounting policy and capital management.
    • Deliver high quality analysis and interpretation of the drivers of financial performance using financial models and other tools to drive continuous improvement in the financial management of relevant areas.
    • Support financial oversight and governance over relevant areas' functional results and financial position.
    • Complete various period and financial processes as required e.g., month end close, billing, invoicing, transfers, journals.
    • Analyse operation data and reports; budgets and forecasting; development and reporting of KPIs; and systems integrity and functionality.

    What you bring:

    The ideal candidate for this Management Accountant role will bring a wealth of experience from similar roles. You will have proven your analytical capabilities by translating complex data into actionable insights. Your commercial acumen and strategic thinking will be matched by your high level of communication and interpersonal skills. Essential qualifications include a tertiary qualification in a finance-related discipline and CPA or CA status, or working towards it. Your experience with ERP systems, budgeting tools, and advanced Microsoft Excel will be highly valued.

    • Strong analytical mindset with the capability to translate data into insights for various functional areas.
    • Demonstrable commercial acumen and strategic thinking.
    • High level of communication and interpersonal skills to build effective relationships for results.
    • Tertiary qualification in a finance related discipline (essential).
    • Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Accountant (CA), or working towards qualification (essential).
    • Experience in ERP systems and budgeting tools and advanced in Microsoft Excel.
    • Team player with the capability or willingness to participate in 'hands-on', end to end accounting.
