Northside Comms Pty Ltd is currently seeking Radiocommunication Technician to join our Brisbane based company. This position is permanent full time, with long term security for the right candidate.

You will be responsible for installation, operation and maintenance of plant and equipment for telecommunications network systems including diagnostic and troubleshooting activities.You will be working alongside riggers as the ground team member.

To be considered for this role you need:

1. Installation and Commissioning of Telecom Equipment.
2. Repair, Testing and Troubleshooting faults on Telecommunications Systems using Telecom testing devices such as Anritsu line sweep tools, PIM Tester, Fibre Testers, etc.

3. Order replacement of faulty equipment as needed.

4. Modifying and upgrading Telecommunications Systems as per instructions from clients

5. Labelling of new and old equipment's / cables according to Clients Standard accordingly (Telstra, Optus, VHA, TPG, NBN).

6. Integration and Call testing of newly installed 4G & 5G equipment's.

7. Documenting, Photos, and submission of related Telecom Hand over pack requirements.

8. Organize and prepare Materials needed for each job.

9. Return and collect Equipment from Clients Warehouse.

10. Organise warehouse spare equipment and materials

To succeed in this role you must :

• The highest commitment to safe working practices;
• Previous experience in the telecommunications industry is essential;
• A degree or diploma certification with a telecommunications or electrical engineering will be highly regarded;
• Industry Construction White Card;
• Australian Drivers Licence
• Previous experience installing and/or supporting Huawei, Nokia and Ericsson RBS, WCDMA/LTE (preferred);
• Knowledge of Installation and maintenance of antenna and feeder cables on monopoles, roof tops and towers
• Basic understanding of transmission systems including PDH, SDH, DWDM, ATM and packet switched networks.
• To be eligible for this position, you must have full Australian working rights.

Ideally you will also hold rigging qualifications:

• Rigging Certificates, Working at Heights & RF Awareness Certificates, a current First Aid Certificate, and a Tower Rescue qualification.You must be available to travel and work away from home when required.
