Our Commercial Banking team located at Box Hill in Melbourne's Eastern suburbs looks after clients who are dispersed geographically across Metropolitan Melbourne and with annual turnover in the range of $30m to $150m.     Due to internal progression a fantastic Team Manager opportunity has become available in our team. As our Team Manager you'll play a key leadership role in coaching and developing our team of Analysts and Account Managers, actively uplifting the overall capability across the team and you will take a leading role supporting the overall success of the business.

    More specifically, you will:

  • Role-model and lead the delivery of best practice service, and outcomes that meet both financial and non-financial risk compliance requirements
  • Manage the workflow of the team including providing active coaching and support in structuring complex credit applications and escalations if any
  • Work collaboratively with peers, business partners and stakeholders to build strong and effective relationships and to ensure your team are meeting the needs of the business
  • Drive a customer centric culture by ensuring your team provide responsive, professional and quality service that meets the needs of our people and clients, and positively contributes to NPS outcomes
  • Place a focus on ensuring that frontline staff have the necessary capability to consistently deliver exceptional service within an operationally compliant framework
  • Proactively identify and assess risk within the business and share best practice insights that will be used to drive and support course correction (if applicable)
  • Drive a productivity mindset, and maintain a continuous improvement focus to implement practical process improvements across the business
  • Ensure strong risk acumen, and drive a culture of accountability and excellence across your team
  • Facilitate ongoing development of your team to continually build on credit, risk, technical and leadership capabilities; and
  • Role model a curious mindset and adoption of technology across your team and business
