    Description

    Identify opportunities for growth in this fantastic opportunity focusing on managing a Small-to-Medium Business Banking client portfolio in Melbourne. Perfect for an established business banker with commercial lending and business development experience.


    • Drive portfolio growth by identifying opportunities for new partnerships via third party brokers

    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with a focus on positive experiences

    • Be part of a successful and supportive team and empower your career progression

    YOU | You will be responsible for new business growth, develop and maintain credible, long-term relationships with the community, industry and referral partners, as well as facilitating positive customer experiences and outcomes. You will display high levels of professionalism and credibility within the SME banking community and be well-equipped to navigate the opportunities and challenges facing businesses across Melbourne. Ideally you will also possess:


    • Demonstrated understanding of the brokerage process and ability to establish new key referral partners and source new business

    • Understanding of the business needs and attitudes of Melbourne businesses

    • Ability to network effectively & maintain good professional working relationships with a range of stakeholders

    • Robust experience in commercial lending

    • Demonstrated experience and success business development

    • Degree in business, finance or related discipline highly regarded
