Position overview
The Division of Student Administration and Academic Services (DSAAS) is within the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic) Portfolio. DSAAS is responsible for the administrative support of students through the student lifecycle from when an offer is made through to the completion of their studies and graduation. Activities of the Division includes admissions, general student enquiries, enrolment, class timetabling, program management, financial transactions, scholarship management, examination management, legislative compliance in relation to students and the curriculum management. The Division also provides advice for appeals, grievance, academic misconduct and discipline processes.
The role is responsible for providing a diverse range of services to coursework and non-award students, and the wider ANU community, including the coordination and facilitation of invoicing for student fees, debt collection and legislative compliance, cancellation of students for non-payment of fees and the approval of refunds. The Enrolments and Fees Office works closely with other areas of the Division, ANU Colleges, Service Divisions, the Dean of Students office and Executive staff, including external bodies and government agencies. We promote and support a strong customer service culture within the team.
