    Business Bank (BB) offers a wide range of services and solutions to our small, medium, and commercial customers and our regional and agribusiness customers. We also take care of institutional online trading customers.

    The Business Marketing Team works closely with our business partners who develop and execute our products that support and enable our business customers to manage and grow their businesses. This includes their Everyday Business Banking needs, Payments and Devices and Lending products.

    This position reports into Senior Manager of Product Marketing.

    Do work that matters

    As the Marketing Manager, Mandatory Communications you'll be developing, executing and optimising customer focused mandatory communications.

    We are looking for someone that has a passion to push the envelope on tone of voice and creativity to surprise and delight customers in moments of truth that usually are regulatory-driven or potentially pose an undesirable outcome from the customer's perspective.

    On any given week you will

    • Design, develop and execute brilliant direct marketing communications for mandatory initiatives and help drive optimisation to uplift them across channels.
    • Project manage multiple campaigns, collaborating with and influencing internal teams.
    • Proactively take on mass campaigns communicating key messages to our customers.
    • Use your customer-centric mindset, data insights and experience to create the customer journey to ensure low response volumes to frontline teams.
    • Write effective briefs and partner with internal and external creative agencies to build engaging customer communications.
    • Monitor and report on marketing effectiveness including channel engagement and business outcomes, leveraging learnings to optimise future initiatives.
    • Determine how we can leverage digital channels to communicate to our customers where they are most active.

    We'd love to hear from people who have:

    • At least 3 years' experience in mandatory communications or direct marketing communications (financial services, telco or professional services highly preferred)
    • Ability to think strategically and execute under tight deadlines.
    • Proven project management skills and ability to build project plans to deliver to timing and objectives.
    • Ability and resilience to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and amongst large stakeholder groups.
    • Drive to design communications that deliver the right customer outcomes and comfortable agitating for the right customer experience
    • An ability to craft customer-centric communications that make the complex simple.
    • Previous experience working with creative agencies, external partnerships and relationship management/executive teams.
    • Track record of using data and customer insights to segment target audiences
