About the role:

Novus is searching for an industry leading Leasing Manager to join our team in a leadership capacity. Based in Melbourne, the Leasing Manager will look after all leasing activities in our growing pipeline of Build-to-Rent properties.

Working closely with the Head of Marketing, and reporting to the Operations Director, the Leasing Manager will develop strategies to generate leads and deliver on commercial targets, while also working alongside each of the properties General Managers to convert leads and maximise resident retention.

The Leasing Manager will be responsible for recruiting, training and developing a small team of Leasing Executives and managing them to deliver a 'best in class', end-to-end leasing process from lead management to conversion.

While your initial focus will be leasing 'Novus on Sturt' in Melbourne's Southbank, the role will extend to encompass the leasing management of the entire Novus network of Build-to-Rent properties. Therefore, a willingness to work across multiple locations is essential.

• Exceptional relationship building, negotiation, customer service, and people skills;
• Ability to deliver a tailored sales experience, based on customer needs and wants;
• A high-level of proficiency in communication;
• Thorough knowledge of operating and lead management systems;
• A willingness to work on weekends;
• Ability to lead and motivate teams to exceed commercial targets; and
• Real Estate, sales, leasing or hotel qualifications are highly desirable.
