    About the role

    We are looking for a talented and experienced business development professional to accelerate and facilitate our continued growth and form part of the dedicated Strata Sense team interacting with our client-facing service delivery. The role reports to the CEO/MD and forms part of a collaborative team of other business professionals and support staff.

    As the General Manager – Business Development for Strata Sense you will be responsible for leading business growth by identifying and executing strategic approaches to grow the client base, with a focus on new property developer clients, and representing the company for better brand awareness. You will also build and lead a small team of business development talent and manage the sales process, actively engaging in both end-to-end sales processes and sales operations, with a focus on high-value developer clients.

    About You

    Your minimum qualifications and experience are:

    • At least ten years of experience in business development, sales, or involvement in the property development industry.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
    • Leadership experience, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
    • Demonstrated ability to cultivate and maintain strategic partnerships, negotiate contracts, and drive revenue growth.
    • Preferred – Understanding of the property development market in Sydney.

    The role – key components

    • Build and maintain a pipeline of prospective and new clients by thinking creatively and leaving no stone unturned
    • Foster new client relationships with property developers
    • Cold call, meet in person, strategise and hold the ability to present on market strategies and reports to gain new and continued business
    • Provide outstanding customer service to newly acquired clients to ensure client retention
    • Manage a small team to ensure high performance outcomes
