Restorative Justice for All (RJ4ALL) January 2017 - at PresentI am grateful that RJ4ALL has accepted that as a team member, I wish to contribute to the communication of Restorative Justice research,efectiveness, diversity and dignity it brings to judicial and organisational culture. As at writing this summary, a Social Media strategy has been accepted, a considerable number of Blog titles chosen, and writing is about to commence. I am accountable to the directors of RJ4ALL, and I see it as a wondrful opportunity to advocate for Restorative Justice at a Facilitator level, and develop my writing skills for a very worthy cause.

The Trauma-Informed Law Project October 2016 - at PresentI am amazed and grateful to be asked by Helgi Maki, a Partner at Bennet Jones LLP, to be a freelance (pro bono) contributing writer / blogger for this website / project she has initiated. It can be viewed at www.traumainformedlaw.org. I am an avid Restorative Justice advocate and I am also a recovering complex trauma survivor, and recovery advocate. This role not only helps me to develop my writing skills, but also to learn more about the legal profession, and the very real challenges that lawyers face in our modern world.

Restorative Justice for All June 2016 - July 2016Subsequent to a personal invitation, and acceptance of a submitted abstract, I was delighted and privileged to present a paper and participate with other Symposiarchs in this Symposium under the theme of "Disciplining and Taking Restorative Justice Forward: From Research & Theory to International Policy & Practice". I personally considered this Symposium to be a "beginning" and the continuation of intellectual rigor and skilled facilitation of judicial concepts, policies, and practices across many sectors. I seek to continue to be a "Peacemaker" at the training, intentional culture building, and facilitation levels.
St Andrews Lutheran College May 1999 - July 2014My role as a Counsellor at St Andrews Lutheran College included: 1:1, small group, and family Counselling / referrals for medium and long term cases that required support beyond my qualifications / Staff training in emotional literacy, Restorative Practices, Child Protection, Meditation / Policy development in liaison with Senior Leadership / Classroom teaching regarding conflict management, and Christian Spirituality / Facilitating Restorative (Conflict Resolution) sessions for students and staff, Writing of brochures, booklets etc regarding Conflict Resolution, Restorative Practices, Emotional Literacy, Presentations to our Parent Community / Supporting Staff / Facilitation of grief recovery and education program for Junior School Students / Liaison with fellow support staff and teachers regarding student welfare / Support of Senior Staff in the management of critical incidents / Support of Senior Leadership regarding Child Protection cases.

My role was primarily to advise the committee regarding matters relating to Child Protection and associated Statutory Requirements.
