About Tamoor Pervaiz:
I completed my Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering Technology with a CGPA of 3.23, where I built a strong foundation in hydrology, water resources, and GIS-based analysis. I also have 4.5 years of professional experience working in different civil engineering organizations, where I gained practical skills in project execution, site supervision, technical reporting, and the use of engineering software. During my academic and professional journey, I worked extensively with ArcGIS and HEC-RAS, which I applied in my research on climate change and land-use/land-cover impacts on hydrology in the Rawalpindi–Islamabad region. My research focused on assessing how climatic variability and rapid urbanization influence surface runoff, flood risk, and water resource availability. With this blend of academic knowledge, applied research, and industry experience, I am now motivated to pursue advanced studies and contribute to innovative research under the guidance of leading experts in the field.
Experience
I started working at Shan Construction as a Civil Engineer on 5th August 2024. In this role, I have been involved in supervising construction activities, managing site operations, coordinating with contractors, ensuring quality control, and supporting project planning and execution. This position has further strengthened my technical skills, field experience, and ability to handle engineering responsibilities on active construction projects.
Education
I hold a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering Technology with a CGPA of 3.23, where I developed a strong academic foundation in hydrology, water resources, GIS, and civil engineering design. During my degree, I gained hands-on experience with tools such as ArcGIS and HEC-RAS, and completed research focused on climate change and land-use/land-cover impacts on hydrology in the Rawalpindi–Islamabad region. This academic background gave me strong analytical, technical, and research skills relevant to advanced studies in civil engineering.
