As an EAL and Media teacher, I bring a unique blend of language and creative skills to the classroom. My role in EAL focuses on helping students develop their English language abilities through engaging lessons that cater to diverse learning needs. In Media, I guide students in exploring film, photography, and digital content, teaching them both the technical aspects and critical thinking skills needed to analyze and create media. My passion lies in fostering creativity while supporting students' communication skills, ensuring they can express themselves confidently in both language and media.

My professional experience as a Media and EAL teacher has involved guiding students through both language development and creative media production. In Media, I’ve taught students how to analyze, create, and critique various forms of media, including film, photography, and digital projects. I focus on technical skills such as video editing, soundscaping, and camera work, alongside fostering critical thinking about media content. In EAL, I’ve supported students in improving their English language skills, tailoring lessons to suit diverse learners, and helping them build confidence in both spoken and written communication. My approach combines creativity and communication to engage students and promote both academic and personal growth.

During my placement as a pre-service Media teacher at Ashwood High School in Melbourne, I gained hands-on experience in teaching Media Arts to senior students. I guided students through practical media skills such as photo, video, and sound editing, helping them critically analyse and create media content. My role involved designing engaging lessons that blended technical media skills with creative thinking, ensuring students developed a solid understanding of the tools and concepts needed in today’s media landscape. This experience deepened my ability to support students in both technical and analytical aspects of media production.
