Kirsty Wilson

Forensic Psychology Intern at the Department of Justice and Communities, with a strong focus on applying evidence-based psychology to reduce recidivism. I am committed to learning and developing practical skills in psychological assessment, intervention, and behavioural support within forensic settings. I hold a Master of Professional Psychology (MProfPsych), a First-Class Bachelor of Science in Psychology (BSc(Psych)Hons), and a Bachelor of Psychological Science (BPsychSc). My expertise includes comprehensive behavioural assessments, emotional regulation, and designing tailored, evidence-informed intervention and support plans. I am nearing completion of my 5+1 internship at a reputable psychology practice, where I have contributed to research-informed approaches and evidence-based interventions. I work effectively within multidisciplinary teams and bring strong analytical, leadership, and coaching skills. In addition, I have experience as an Advanced Behaviour Support Practitioner, specialising in complex behavioural assessments and intervention planning. 

Provisional Psychologist with experience across Behaviour Support, disability, community, and forensic-informed settings. Skilled in assessment, formulation, report writing, stakeholder liaison, risk-informed practice, and developing person-centred, evidence-based supports for individuals with complex needs.
